While working on FSCONS for the last four years, we've learned a lot about organising events. We've also learned what you should definitely avoid doing at all possible costs. Watch this space to learn the 10 ways to organise an event that suck!
Nothing can be more dangerous for your uneventful event than offering food to the participants. Most of the participants are your event will be starving after just a few hours! And trust me: you DO NOT want to see a horde of 200+ hungry participants armed with forks and knives!
At FSCONS, we're trying to reduce the risk of serious injury by asking the participants to pay a nominal fee for the food. You can decide on your own if you take us up on the offer of food, or if you hit the local pizzeria.
